How To Stop Losing Clickbank Affiliate Sales In Firefox
November 20th, 2007 | by HowToGuru |Recently, I started promoting a Clickbank product on one of my other sites. After a while, from my stats, I could see lots of traffic going to the affiliate product sales page but strangely no sales at all. I suspected that I was not being credited for sales taking place. When I visited the sales page using Internet Explorer, I could see on the clickbank payment page, [affiliate=myclickbank_id] but when I used the Firefox browser, it showed [affiliate=none]!
After some research on the net, I came across an article by Kidino who found a solution. To make sure your clickbank affiliate id shows up in Firefox, at the end of your clickbank hoplink, add ‘&type=nohop’. eg
Instead of => http://myclickbank_id.merchant_id.hop.clickbank.net
Use => http://myclickbank_id.merchant_id.hop.clickbank.net/&type=nohop
Many thanks to Kidino for this solution.

Cool tip. I’ve been wondering this for some time.
no one seemed to make a big deal about it, but i made two lengthy forum posts in the warrior forum about FF taking commissions. If you have the privacy setting to remove data after the browser closes, there goes your cookies too.
