I had to make sure I put the "s" into the URL, but both https://vtunnel.com and https://newipnow.com let me navigate to sites that pop up a websense window when I try them directly in my browser. In my 'Finance' class we are given spreadsheets and told to copy them into Microsoft Excel. I grew up with computers, I know these programs and how they work. The question is, why are we spending money supplying kids with computers, only to have them sit there and stare blankly at screens, wondering what time the bell will ring? I understand if we were to use it for research, but there are Libraries for that. And in this day and age, how many people don't have a computer at home? To be blunt, websense is pointless.
