Sogotrade
Offers $3 per trades.
100 free trades.
25 free trades for referring others.
Free Research tools for the investors.http://custom.marketwatch.com/custom/sog…
The cheapest and the most reliable stock broker.
They have a much reliable trading platform as Genesis, their parent company has their own trading platform, own market data and own clearing. So much of the cost is saved.
Genesis and SogoTrade transact over 120 million shares each day, representing the equivalent of 2–4% of Nasdaq’s total daily trading volume.
In my opinion, Scottrade is the best. You don’t get the research and all that you get with the ones you pay alot more on, but none of that is really ever worthwhile anyways.
It has a low minimum deposit of $500. $7 for all trades (I did find that buying some OTC stock was like $7.50, but most of these discount brokers won’t let you buy those anyways). $17 for a mutual fund. High customer satisfaction. Hundreds of brick and mortar offices around the country so you can actually go in and speak to someone about your money instead of getting mixed up in trying to put your money in and getting so frustrated that you just give up (i hate e*trade). No monthly fees or anything like that. One downside is the lack of research it provides online.
If you do sign up for scottrade, we can both get 7 free trades if I officially recommended you. Send me an email at woshaugh@yahoo.com. This isn’t why I recommend it, this is just a promotion that popped up when I was last using it. I recommend it because I use it and I use it because I think it is the best.
