I am 16 and I would like to buy stocks online, I don’t want to open a joint account with my parents or anyone else. Does anyone no if I can buy stocks online, and if so where?

Open a custodial account, its the same thing as a joint account but your guardian needs to sign all the papers saying that they are responsible for the money you loose or gain. They offer custodial accounts at etrade.

Have your parents open a Uniform Gift to Minors Account or UGMA.. Brokerage firms can’t make contracts with minors.
