Whether you are using your domain name for a business site or a personal one really makes no difference.
I have had dealings with all of the above except for Network Solutions but the majority of my domain names are registered through my Directi reseller account and a couple of the smaller registrars. I have found the customer/technical service to be better through the “little guys”

I am a web developer and designer, and while I haven’t shopped around much, I have used and been very satisfied with registering my domain names at GoDaddy.com, and buying my hosting at Hostgator.com
For domain names buddy i reccomend : NameCheap.com they are very reliable
For Hosting i would reccomend SafeHostUK.com they are also very good and reliable !
