What Is The Best Online Brokerage For Buying Stocks In Foreign Countries I.e. Not The U.s. ?
There are some good values in china it would be nice to buy. I have heard that E-Trade allows you to do some foreign trading but it scares the hell out of me because it looks like they could go out of business at anytime. What would happen if the brokerage does how are you going to get your dividends and so on? What is a safer brokerage that is cheap online to buy foreign stocks in?
I use Interactive Brokers at http://www.interactivebrokers.com. They are very cheap but they do not offer all the bells and whistles that the E-Trades of the world offer. To me, that’s not big deal – after all we have YAHOO Finance and many Groups you can join to bounce ideas around.
