Do you have someone like Schwab or Merril Lynch managing your account? Is this a 401k? You can get your account activity online through whomever is brokering your account. If it’s through your work, go to the personnel office and ask for the information booklet on how to access your account information. If you just want to know how your stock is doing, click stocks on your Yahoo! home page and enter the symbol SHLD. (Kmart owned by Sears holding Co.) That will tell you the value.

Many web sites have finance sections.
    USAToday.com – Money
    Yahoo – Finance
    Google – Finance
    CNBC – Money
My favorite is finance.google.com. Now that you own stock in Kmart… wait… Kmart is not a publicly owned stock (according to Google). Let’s check Yahoo! Kmart (KMRT) is no longer available and has changed to SHLD. This is Sears. I guess Kmart was bought by Sears. Okay, so now this means that you own stock in SHLD or Sears. Now you’ll need to pull out your records to see the bought price and the amount of shares. Then you can go to finance.google.com and after creating a profile, you can make a portfolio and it will tell you how much money you have made/lost with SHLD. Google Finance has some kinks to work out but it is a Beta. But it is very nice because it updates like every two seconds.
Hope I helped! Remember that you recieve extra points when choosing a best answer!
